I always figured that Dick Hyman title to be nonsensical fiction, but turns out that there is a real Greek island called Corfu. And the Mr Wiki sez: "Another venerable Corfu tradition is known as the Carnival or Ta Karnavalia...Corfiots, young and old, dress up in colourful costumes and follow the parade, spilling out into the area's narrow streets (kantounia) and spreading the festivities across the city, dancing and socialising. At night, dance and costume parties are traditional." So that title could be a real thing. I apologize for doubting you, Dick.
