Haven't been to New Orleans in quite a long time-got there twice in the 90's for the Jazz and Heritage Festival. Was going to take another crack at the festival 8 years ago, tickets purchased and everything, but a death in the family nixed the plan. Hopefully get there again in not too long a time...

That place closed before my time WR but Austin Leslie also made a garlicky fried chicken. Had his chicken at Jacque Imos back in the late 90s/early 00s. He moved on to Pampy’s before he passed not long after Katrina. He used to own Chez Helene’s and there was a TV show based on him that lasted one season. Frank’s Place. Seems lost to time.
