I'm not familiar with "White Noise," but this is REALLY COOL.

I think the 7" is just, "April Stevens Reads the Weather." and the tracks are, "RAIN - Light." "Sunny." "RAIN - HEAVY." Etc.

The copy I have says, "Not for Sale." I think it was one of those "distributed to radio stations only" and might have gotten forgotten, somehow. I've played it a few times over the years, but I should probably revisit it. (Each track ends with an "ENDLESS GROOVE" so you can't actually play it straight through. It's truly a radio record.

I think dispensaries need to embrace the "other kinds of people are interested in this product." Like, all the places in Oregon look like some grunge kid from a Nirvana video is about to sell something to you. If there was a goth pot shop with strains like "Too Dark Park" and "Elder Pot" I would probably only shop there.

While absolutely great, I remember before the movie came out, casting Gilbert for a Disney movie was a little controversial. His humor was usually... surreal and not child-friendly. But he really nailed that parrot well.

The solace I take away from Gilbert and Bob Saget's passings is the second wind their careers had with stand up and podcasting through new tech. Brought them on an even bigger platform where they were just as beloved by the younger generations. Incredible people who will be dearly missed.

Wanda was just in the first episode of season three of A Black Lady Sketch Show. She played a heckler at a comedy club who got more laughs than the comedian on stage. The funniest line she said in her inimitable voice to the adoring crowd was, "I work at the post office."

I spent most of my youth listening to comedy records, and then I sort of stopped following comedy. I've seen / heard occasional people over the years, but I think all of that energy has now been replaced by radio / podcasts. I should probably do a new comedy show, just so I can check out who's good these days.
