	♥ 12:46pm McGroovey: The old Peaches was in the tourist corridor on N.Peters or Decatur St. It was a normal chain record store. Then, one time I went by the old store, and it looked more ragged, and I went in and they weren't selling just overpriced new CDs. They were also selling overpriced used records. Then, the next time I was in New Orleans, they'd moved to the current location on Magazine St, which was conveniently just around the corner from the apartment my wife and her sister owned (inherited from their aunt). Except that there really wasn't much I wanted to buy at the new Peaches.

	♥ 12:51pm Alvy Singer: When I worked at Caroline Records in the early 90's, Kim Fowley, who was living in New Orleans at the time , would call up screaming that he was at the Tower Records in the French Quarter and that there wasn't one damn record of his in the racks. This routine went on for months with him.

UV-TV formed in Gainesville, Florida, in the mid-2010s, but by the turn of the decade they’d relocated to New York City. Their first release after moving to NYC, 2021’s Always Something, was one of EFD’s favorites of that year; they’ll play some songs from that album as well as some new songs from an upcoming release. Tune in for some post-punk jangle-drone!

The Prof. Fuzz 63 are a three-piece family band from just north of Dallas. They’re also literally a garage band. Their garage/practice space is adorned with photos of The Cramps, among others, and singer uses an old telephone handset for a mic. What else do you need to know? OK, they’re also playing May 22 at Berlin in NYC and May 23 at Finnegan’s in Hoboken.

Then, one time I went by the old store, and it looked more ragged, and I went in and they weren't selling just overpriced new CDs. They were also selling overpriced used records. Then, the next time I was in New Orleans, they'd moved to the current location on Magazine St, which was conveniently just around the corner from the apartment my wife and her sister owned (inherited from their aunt). Except that there really wasn't much I wanted to buy at the new Peaches.

This routine went on for months with him.
