I mean, in some workplaces you actually get "strike days" to spend as you wish, while going on a real strike gets you fired, and probably beaten up by union goons. Not a good place. Teachers are safe, but not defended either

Some kids get long weekends, not bad for them but even liberal low-earning parents are known to send their kids to private school (not expensive) as “teacher disciple” (not my words) is better. I mean, in some workplaces you actually get "strike days" to spend as you wish, while going on a real strike gets you fired, and probably beaten up by union goons. Not a good place. Teachers are safe, but not defended either

Some kids get long weekends, not bad for them but even liberal low-earning parents are known to send their kids to private school (not expensive) as “teacher disciple” (not my words) is better.
