I also made our own record cleaner, which was ok...but now I use VERY dilute Ajax dish detergent and hand wash following the grooves. Rinse well. Dry with an old (very old, soft) towel to get of most of the water and then air dry.

I also made our own record cleaner, which was ok...but now I use VERY dilute Ajax dish detergent and hand wash following the grooves. Rinse well. Dry with an old (very old, soft) towel to get of most of the water and then air dry.
