	♥ 9:57am Doug Schulkind: Jenkins and the tenor saxist on this date, Clifford Jordan, were buddies from Chicago. Toward the end of his life, Jenkins started playing again, and hooked up with Jordan again. Both Jenkins and Jordan were born in 1931 and died in 1993.
