I just stumbled into a free "Art of Bklyn Film Festival" showing of short films here in Sunset Park, but bailed out because both of the first two shorts were really schmaltzy and sentimental. I haven't seen much by up-and-coming young filmmakers lately -- is getting sappy a big thing now, or is BFF just really bad? Anyone know?

Do you think we need to be careful what prompts we use with ChatGPT? If it learns from user conversations and uses our prompts as part of its database, then that seems like it has the potential for privacy violations (on top of all the copyright and bias concerns).

there are talks about companies trying to prevent their employees from using their own proprietary code in chatgpt. however, it's unlikely to directly link private info and a user, however, indirectly, it could be possible. Now, w/ new updates, and iterations to chatgpt (and its competitors), it remains to be seen.... then, you have to account for all of the data noise that various users input, making anything definite harder to track...

What you are describing is so far removed from my daily reality, or so I would like to think. I no longer am a marketable commodity, if I ever was one to begin with. But that aside, the insidious nature of so many applications of user technology demands that even the most inert and inessential person could be washed down the drain if they aren't vigilant.
