Squints:

ok then.

hey HEY hey.

Chiming in early. Will be streaming in the car on the way to Tanglewood to see Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets and Some Guy. So can't be on the Accuvue.

Heard last week's great show but was similarly off the chat while driving home from a funeral. (Buddy lost his 35yo son to some heart/circulatory issues. Not a club in which I need more members. I failed as a bouncer.)

Anyway, I did last week's chat because I knew there would be remembrances of Aaron Spade. My condolences to all who knew him and especially clarke. I didn't know Aaron but saw him once with Baby Macaroni, twice with the Incredible Casuals and once with the first iteration of the Spampinato Brothers when Joey was still playing out. Seemed like a good egg and was a real good player.

Have a great show. I'll be tuned. Catch up next Saturday.

Enjoy the show. I saw it Wednesday night. Nick and LS were amazing as always. I have some newfound respect for Elvis. He's clearly struggling with his health. The godawful air quality in Michigan didn't help. Many events cancelled but not those guys. EC sat much of the show and his voice is rough. But he delivered. Mixed set. Some things worked better than others. He did not manage an encore. He was very funny and somewhat profane. Charlie Sexton still adds nothing to the band.

No, it's cool. Gotta get back to cleaning after I'm done with this cuppa, so...

Monday we watched a doc from the 90s called "The Celluloid Closet" which examined who LBGTQIA+ roles over the years in Hollywood. Tuesday was "Personality Crisis", the David Johansen doc, which I liked but wish it was a little bit more of a traditional doc. We watched Victor/Victoria last night, which I was thankful was not a typical musical, in fact, I don't really think it's a musical at all. Also, The Big Lez show sprinkled in here and there over the course of the week.

Fun as hell show, thanks!
Great to hear Jellyfish on the air, something that sadly didn’t happen as much as it should have in its day.
Agree that a reunion tour would do great.

Hey, didn’t mean to trouble you…
Thanks for that!
You have me wondering if Lynch has his own show or podcast or something. In that Zanes book it’s revealed that he is quite a cut-up and also does great impersonations. Petty himself said he could have had a career as a stand-up comedian.
Really good swinging drummer (despite what Jimmy Iovine thought of him and put him through). Also an excellent backup singer; Petty loved the way his voice matched up with his.
Thanks again.
