I enjoyed the show quite a bit. In the middle, they broke out into Ornette's "Peace." Otherwise, all apparently improvised.

	♥ 10:15am coelacanth∅: Jeff i don't know if you mentioned it because you want others' opinions or not but here's mine: however much i like to hear a show host speak and the information delivered i prefer longer sets. once/hour is enough for those who play long tracks. 1/2 hour for those who play short tracks. more mic breaks means more redundancy, for one thing; but mainly it's just for the getting into a groove...each set being a composition of it's own. ...and i really enjoyed hearing Meghan again too... but i still feel this way! she spoke just enough for me.

One piece was similar to this one, and I remember thinking that this was an incredibly dumb idea. Then when it happened, I couldn't believe that it worked and was in fact beautiful. That was my graduate education!

I enjoyed the show quite a bit. In the middle, they broke out into Ornette's "Peace." Otherwise, all apparently improvised.

	♥ 10:15am coelacanth∅: Jeff i don't know if you mentioned it because you want others' opinions or not but here's mine: however much i like to hear a show host speak and the information delivered i prefer longer sets. once/hour is enough for those who play long tracks. 1/2 hour for those who play short tracks. more mic breaks means more redundancy, for one thing; but mainly it's just for the getting into a groove...each set being a composition of it's own. ...and i really enjoyed hearing Meghan again too... but i still feel this way! she spoke just enough for me.
