saw uncle wiggly a few years later and although an original group, i remember they were part of a trend of bands playing hard/soft or fast /slow songs, ie. songs that switched gears in the middle.

Thanks, Erik. Wm's birthday is in August and he was one year younger than me. Two months before he died, I moved to a new place after living around the corner from Wm for about 12 years or so. We still were in the same neighborhood, however, I was three blocks further away. One of the last things we talked about was that he wanted to reissue an album by The Blue Daisies. We both loved that album back then.
