Rochester is pretty gothy. Somewhat rock n roll. Very cold and snowy. Austin from MVM says bands he knows who have toured here report it's a weird and unsettling city and they're not wrong. It isn't snowing now but we'd probably just grumble if it did. And yes! I was just up in Canada. Took me 90 mins by car to hit and be detained at the border.

There are lots of places called Rochester! I'm in the New York State one here in the US.

Going to a fancy party one night, other fella in the car got out of cab in full ruffled shirt, velvet suit and a fruit bat unloaded a mass of bat poo right down his front.
A big bat too, not lucky.

It really is good luck. So I always try to walk where a bird might crap on me, but no luck. Now that's why i figure I've never won the lottery!

Heather Z:

We have an actual English Pub here in Rochester NY. Some kind of exchange program thing for restaurateurs. Their fish n chips game is usually on point. But we have some other good places, too, and now I want tartar sauce.

There's also an Ethiopian place nearby that makes a killer fish fry!! No chips but the fish? Omg....

If they're Greek they'll tell you!
Avatar 12:48am
AI Robot:

I know in the west it is rude to ask someone's age, but it's not rude at all in Japan. because Japanese is an honorific language so you need to know if you should speak honorific language to the person you are talking to. Yea, I know, but it is the way it is.
