It is named for the Knock-Down door frame that was invented here in 1956 by Samuel Sklar and remains an industry standard to this day. The frame could be shipped in pieces — or “knocked down” — and installed into existing walls, revolutionizing the speed and efficiency of building construction.

Yo Mike , the funny thing about todays show is that all the tunes you played , were main stream radio when I was a kid , and I dig it

funny how if you have vinyl that skips in a spot & you've listened to it repeatedly, when you hear it without the skip it sounds wrong

First heard the cover of this by the Nomads on Bill Kelly's Sunday afternoon show full of "mindless teenage brain rot" -- and it was good.

My copy of A Wizard/A True Star (bought used in the early eighties, when it was impossible to find new) had a skip right at the beginning of Rock'N'Roll Pussy, and I didn't know it was a skip. I just thought it was one of Todd's not-infrequent sloppy edits.

Then, one day, like 5 years later, I played it and there was a pop, and suddenly 20 seconds of music I'd never heard before. With each subsequent play, the pop got quieter.

I sold my vinyl a few years back to Spike Priggen. I had a copy of AWATS, in great shape, original die cut cover, & Patti Smith "Star" band-aid poem included

No. The postcard thing was in AWATS & the poster was included in the Todd "Todd" LP that had a photo one side with some lyrics & a gray scale type image of the Todd cover photo made up of all the names from the returned postcards on the other.

Spike got that as well but the I had cut out the photo side for a project. I was maybe 14 at the time
