I don't even know of any other stations that would Bryce, Micah, Fabio or even Seven Second Delay on their air in the light of day. Most wouldn't even put these shows on at 3:00 am. WIth that said, give if you can. I do SWAG for life and I also did a one time pledge for the Hellraiser too 9despite no pumpkin). You can do it!

Then the company I worked for stopped doing what I wanted to do, and I ended up moving first for a couple of years to Ireland, then back to Frankfurt, then to Finland. This is hopefully the last one until I'm too decrepit to live alone in a house.

The best times I've had an ages (other than with my kids) was volunteering at FMU during the spring marathon and hanging out with WFMU listeners and DJs at Goner Fest in Memphis. It was the best feeling being around like minded people, I never had to explain myself (hahaha) and just hanging out yucking it up. It bas the best.

	♥ 2:21pm jms in upstate manhattan: ↳ chris in the redwoods @1:48 32 Sounds is definitely worth seeing -- I saw the headphones version at Film Forum a few months ago -- tho if you've already been exploring the kind of sound worlds that draw us to this show on Friday afternoons, you might find some of it a bit basic (4'33" again, anyone?). The Annea Lockwood sections are great ("listening with, rather than to, the environment"). The Foley artist parts are very entertaining. The whole section on the mating call of the last surviving individual of a now extinct Hawaiian bird is totally heartbreaking. I'd see it again, especially pretty much any theatrical version with live performance.

I don't even know of any other stations that would Bryce, Micah, Fabio or even Seven Second Delay on their air in the light of day. Most wouldn't even put these shows on at 3:00 am. WIth that said, give if you can. I do SWAG for life and I also did a one time pledge for the Hellraiser too 9despite no pumpkin). You can do it!

The Annea Lockwood sections are great ("listening with, rather than to, the environment"). The Foley artist parts are very entertaining. The whole section on the mating call of the last surviving individual of a now extinct Hawaiian bird is totally heartbreaking. I'd see it again, especially pretty much any theatrical version with live performance.
