As I look at the end of this year, I must say the highest forces in this country are full of mendacity and complicity -- in genocide. A sad way to describe the end of 2023. The positive consolation for us who care is, world opinion is against this complicity and mendacity.

No not really.
I still have a postcard he sent me from a stop in Brazil.

For the crew...it's a lot of work, not so much play.

He told me how beautiful the women in Brazil were & how cheap certain substances were.

this is back in 99-00

I have my own Metallica tales from way back in the 80's.

I catered shows for my brother in law back when the band was starting out on Megaforce.

I fed them & they showered at my apartment pre - their show in Port Jervis,NY which we produced. I had a photo of my then 8 year old stepson riding on James' shoulders. Lost in the divorce.

I tried to get the local Irish pub interested in Lankum back before they were called Lankum and they weren't well known but they weren't interested. And of course now they couldn't afford them. Great band.

Very cool to see one of those flyers for The Shopwlace in NJ. That's the first place I interned at. Met Lesley West, Corky Laing, and Jack Bruce's son Malcolm my third day. Great people to work with.

Was big Joe there at the time?
The guy who used to sit at the console with his guitar & Eventide Harmonizer & play between acts?
