I like Beefeater. 1/4 oz Noilly Pratt. Rest. Breathe. Use a french peeler to obtain a fresh sliver of clean, cold lemon skin. Set aside. Use the bar spoon to spin the wash. Do not slosh. That comes later. Wen absolute cold is reached, stain into your frozen martini glass. Some ice slivers are highly desirable. Relax more. Twist lemon peel over top of liquid in glass. Observe closely. If no oil is spritzed, you will be sad. Drop down the side of the glass. Stab two delicious stuffed olives with cocktail fork. Enjoy!

But I like to order them out in the world rather than something recherché and obscurantist. I've been stocking Bell Ringer gin. I think it's pretty comparable to Beefeater and comes in a fairly affordable 1.75L size, which I like to get for the base ingredients in drinks.

Feegan's splits the difference.

I like Beefeater. 1/4 oz Noilly Pratt. Rest. Breathe. Use a french peeler to obtain a fresh sliver of clean, cold lemon skin. Set aside. Use the bar spoon to spin the wash. Do not slosh. That comes later. Wen absolute cold is reached, stain into your frozen martini glass. Some ice slivers are highly desirable. Relax more. Twist lemon peel over top of liquid in glass. Observe closely. If no oil is spritzed, you will be sad. Drop down the side of the glass. Stab two delicious stuffed olives with cocktail fork. Enjoy!
