Since I seem to be full of patentable ideas today: a stereo set-up with four speakers and a knob you turn to insert a variable delay between one set and the other. The fatal flaw is that it may produce some resonant frequency that pushes your house off the foundation.

I read Dave Thomas' book about SCTV. Apparently many of them lived in a rented house in Toronto. When Thomas moved in, the ritual was that you had to sit with Brooks' LP where he interviews you. There's a script you're supposed to follow, but it immediately goes off the rails and hilarity ensues.

I had a black & white dream about Eleanor Roosevelt & Paul Robeson. That dream inspired the name you see here. That and the way Clay spoke about the passing of Robert Hunter inspired me to create a WFMU friendship society user profile! And here we are baby

Eleanor had a copy of the Declaration of Human rights with her and she was in a room with Paul Robeson and other people I did not recognize and then i had to go out of the room to do something for Paul. I was moving quickly through a corridor lined with paintings of people I did not know. Moving quickly on my to go do something for Paul and then I woke up…
