Hey Prof! I don't think I know that one? I'll have to seek it out. Was that comp from the 90s? There are a million MC5 comps from the 90s and early 2000s, it's hard to keep track of them all. Same goes for Stooges comps from that same time.

There's also an early version of "Black To Comm" on that '66 Breakout comp. They were doing it even back then. Not QUITE as intense as this version, but still pretty frenetic for 1966.

"Tonight" is such a groove. It's so impressive how killer tones Wayne gets even live, it sounds effortless. "Poison" is fiiiiiiiiiire. "Over And Over" is maybe my favorite Tyner vocal performance. I now really get the heavy Soul band that underlies the MC5. Hard and sentimental tribute to Brother Wayne.
