FYU. From Lincoln Center, I just saw Cameron Carpenter play a 2 hour 30 minute concert of original organ music to accompany METROPOLIS, the silent film. Imagine playing non stop for 2 and a half hours. AWESOME.

I have seen this every 10 years since the 1970's with updated footage, cleaned up existing footage and updated descriptions of what is missing. It never fails to impress. I hope one day, it all comes finally together. Ditto, the Magnificent Ambersons, which is still cut up all over the world
