@Edgar lovely now, but winter snow storm is coming shortly. Every time I look they add more to the forecast. Time to bundle up by the fire and curl up with a book.

Been both mired in my own inertia, and reading more voraciously than usual. So it’s been more books than banter, more meditation than music.
The opening of this set is really wonderful for my state of mind now. Trouble really delivers constantly.
Had a reprieve from racing the kids off to school this morning and used that to do some deep breathing exercises on the couch. Breath holds of over 2min, twice. Hadn’t done that in a row before.
It’s the perfect soundtrack also for “William Blake Vs. The World” which is in my lap now, along with the usual smoothie and coffee half an arm’s length away.
Hope you’re all causing good trouble!

@Zip7 that is absolutely the correct response to snow. We had a family cat who shook each paw as he lifted it to take a step in the snow, it was so finicky and cute to watch.

and yes, so true about NYC! sure there is this tough, mean reputation -- but reality is, the place is unbelievably kind and supportive -- not the case, in so many of the places that diss NYC, and hate other "big cities " too!
