Listener comments!

  9:08am Matt:

Sad news about Mike Osbourne......I discovered him through this show.
  9:09am north guinea hills:

dsjfk sdfh grimble grumble sjdfkb friday!
  9:10am Doug:

Terribly awfully desperately sad. Next week will be all Ozzy all the time.
  9:15am Bill:

I missed the first part of the show. I thought for a minute it was going to be all the other Ozzy next week,
  9:21am Doug:

Ozzy and Ozzy, together again for the last time. (I wonder if they were distant cousins.)
  9:28am Parq:

But yes! Doug, the world needs an Ozzy/Ozzy mashup.
  9:47am Michael King:

Doug, Pleased you'll be celebrating the music of Mike Osborne. His was a singular voice. Alto Madness indeed!
  9:50am Doug:

Alto Sadness.
  9:54am Ken:

Hi Doug - just testing out the playlist comment section in Safari.Kelly Shay Hicks sounds really good tuning up in the kitchen, by the way..
  9:58am Doug:

Gee, I sent her down to the kitchen to make me an omelet. Oh well...
  10:12am lydia:

Dig the crazy gheetar. Wonder if Haircut 100 listened to this?
  10:13am Wes:

I'll have mushrooms, bacon, and swiss in my omelet, please. Maybe some diced green bell peppers if you're feeling naughty.
  10:24am lydia:

OK NOW WE'RE COOKIN WITH GAS!

Uh oh don't hope it's gonna be more than just talkover bg!
  10:25am billyjam:

Doug - always giving the drummer some and giving the FMU listeners even more - another killer show! Hey wanted to take advantage of the ACCUPLAYLIST comments box to remind WFMU listeners that this afternoon (3-6PM) the two publishers of FOUND magazine will be in the studio (probably the first hour) and that if any FMU listeners have tales to share about interesting items that they might have found to either (A) send in a COMMENT on that show's Accuplaylist or (B) to email me in the meantime at billyjam@wfmu.org with their FOUND story (you can even attach image of your item) - all of which will be discussed as part of the WFMU interview with DAVY and PETER of FOUND magazine. - thanks a lot DOUG!
  10:29am Paul Sherratt UK:

  10:36am Doug:

Are you related to that pup, Paul? If so, everyone send some num-nums to Paul in the UK!
  10:47am Paul Sherratt:

'Found' Jim very recently - he's now a little over halfway through his second Drummer Some Late Breakfast

Also found - a spare copy of the new Orchestra Boabab cd - what on earth should I do with it ??
  10:52am Paul Sherratt:

That Charlie Brown sounds so much like Tom House - anyone heard Tom's gently bittersweet " Papa's Dancing With His Daughter " ?
  11:32am Terry:

Hey, what a treat to be at work here in Atlanta and hear kelly! Haven't heard her since the teahouse show down here. Have fun in New York!
  11:36am Cervantes:

Doug's show is the best on the radio. No comparison. Thanks Doug, from Colorado
  11:38am Doug:

Thanks Cervantes! Artists like Kelli make doing this thang easy as pie.
  11:40am Cervantes:

Let's keep up with live performances on 'give the drummer some,' this is a real treat.
  11:41am north guinea hills:

handn't heard hendrix quite like this before
  11:42am Matt:

This is my favorite Hendrix tune- I love Kelli's version!!!!!
  6:59pm Ashley:
