Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

That's it for another episode of The Dusty Show. It was a strange one in that my dual-cassette deck broke early in the production-phase, and I had to do the show ... digitally. Yikes. So I did it on my laptop and incorporated some analog elements and ended up having fun with it. The background music (where not indicated) was stuff I created in Garageband. I have my repairman, Mark Slaughter, on the case, trying to whip together a functioning dual-cassette for us, but it will be another digital week ahead. I'll also be filling in for Fabio on THURSDAY, JULY 28th from 3-6pm. Followed by Dusty. Looking forward to it.

Summer is flying by so fast, it's unreal. I'm having a good one and I hope you can say the same. Drop me an email sometime and let me know what city you are from and what's on your mind. Always good to hear from the Dusty Family.

Until next time everyone, take care and ...

Always remember.

Clay

  6:38pm
E Double:

Tribute to Troy is off the hook
  6:40pm
Matt from Springfield:

@MK: I just learned this trick a couple months ago for YouTube: pressing the numbers 1-9 will take you to the 10%-90% point in the video.

So press 3, or else, just go to the 0:47 mark ;)
  6:40pm
Coach from EVR:

Fabio.. the folks from the Electric Eclectics were on my show when you walked by last week.. good to meet you. Have fun up there

  6:43pm
Adam in Portland:

I think Barry Lyndon was shot masterfully.
  6:44pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Adam: No prob! I started to wonder why people were posting comments saying to press a certain number--usually it cuts right into a funny line or puts something out of context!
  6:44pm
E Double:

Barry Lyndon didn't get shot, he took over for the dude who was shot.
  6:44pm
Clay:

Loved One Is GREAT! Liberace. Robert Morse,
  6:45pm
Adam in Portland:

E Double: you ol' card. ;-)
  6:45pm
Matt from Springfield:

Nick Gilder--like the 70s joke about pubescent girls, into pubescent guys who look and sound like pubescent girls! Later revived with the coming of "Hanson"...
  6:46pm
E Double:

Oh Adam, I like the cut of your jib.
  6:46pm

  6:52pm
E Double:

You think some dude in 2134 will be sitting in his Biosphere, taking a moment from running from zombies to listen to the archive and be like "That dude moose is an idiot."

  6:52pm
phillip:

  6:55pm
Matt from Springfield:

Eternity is so much bigger than anyone, time and the universe are so much bigger than you anyway, a single call on Clay's Archive won't ultimately affect you either way. You're here NOW, and if you want to call, CALL! If you want to be free be free...
