Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

That's it for another episode of The Dusty Show. I hope you enjoyed it an found it to be worthwhile. Of course, I always love to hear your feedback. Email me! No! -----

dusty@wfmu.org

I would like to extend partial apologies to Achilles and Henry, interview subjects on this episode. I talked to both of these gentlemen at-length, but as it so often happens, I had to edit out a good deal of the interviews due to time considerations. I should start including extra footage in the podcasts. Something to think about.

I hope that life is going well for you and that you'll keep tuning in when you can. It's very much appreciated. Until next time .... always remember.

Hey there Clay and everyone!
  6:06pm
Philo Gristle:

Clay -- did you once have a Honda 90? There's a lot of them around!
  6:08pm
david:

ringo would sing "boys" live would he not
  6:08pm
Ralphine:

I was hoping that Fabio would play the new Beach Boys single "That's Why God Made the Radio" today, but no dice.
Avatar 6:08pm
Clay:

Hey Matterhorn! Philo, my brother did. Our neighbor had a Honda 50 with pedals - or maybe it was a Sunbeam. At any rate, we're talking '66 or so. I yearned for mopeds before I yearned for motorcycles. I've never had a motorcycle. I'm too accident prone.
  6:08pm
Matt from Springfield:

Yes, "Boys" was Ringo's song to sing in their early days!

Yes, david.

Mind over Matterhorn! :)
  6:10pm
Philo Gristle:

I'd love to have a Honda 90 -- it's the standard bike for Australian mail service. They still made the same bike until about 5 years ago... they were made to last!
Avatar 6:10pm
Clay:

I like it, Ralphine. I wish I could play it. They were good on Jimmy Fallon, everything considered (and with help from The Wondermints.)
  6:11pm

Brian really tore up the keyboard on Fallon's show, didn't he?

C & R: Saw them on Fallon, too, and enjoyed the performance. The interview part was sort of being on tenterhooks the whole time, watching Brian's mind wander as Love was the mouthpiece.
  6:14pm
Matt from Springfield:

Hello Caryn!

Wow Clay, there *is* a real Julesburg, in the northeastern most corner of Colorado! Wonder if FMU's "Julesberg" is aware of that? :)

We used to drive from Iowa to Julesberg to get Coors back in the day. I guess because it was unavailable locally, we thought it had special powers.
