OK now that's just weird -- "Killer Queen" was running through my head for about half an hour before your show started.
  11:05am

In my summer clothes and ready for cool tunes!
  11:09am
Mig:

Sounds like the Glenn Jones show.
  11:10am
Clarence:

"Too many layers of E Street"! Hmmmm . . . maybe you're right.
Avatar 11:11am
jose:

Mig - you lack imagination
  11:11am
Red:

@Girls in Summer Clothes: I thought that was a Beaver Brown from "Eddie and the Cruisers"
  11:12am
Clarence:

@Red No Cougar had first dibs.
  11:13am
mrmucho:

there are some great isolated tracks on youtube of Freddie M singing sans band. dude had pipes, obv
  11:14am
Clarence:

Hey Mikey. When is Cousin Brucie comin' on the show?
  11:15am
Connie T. Empress:

More like Cousin Brewski will make an appearance :)
  11:16am
Clarence:

Hey I am listening to the show with Steve Allen by the way.
  11:17am
Clarence:

  11:25am
Clarence:

Ok I will R.I.P
  11:37am
Mark in DC:

Actually, that's an Explorer acoustic, not a V. No matter, cheers!
  11:42am
Princeton RecordEX:

Yeah those clerks are jerks! Now will that be cash or charge?
  11:45am
Amanda:

Best!!! I'm not gonna buy the guitars though.
  11:49am
SNOWED IN:

Jonesville was is and will ever be dumb .
Avatar 11:50am
Michael Shelley:

I like Jones' show!
  12:05pm
dave:

jonesville is supposed to be dumb.
  12:05pm
Connie T. Empress:

Love Toe Hold!
Avatar 12:09pm
Michael Shelley:

Agree - Wilson Pickett's toe hold also is boss!
  12:10pm
v:

Check out Ocean Grove. Very clean quiet sleepy enchanting Victoria shore town. Next to Asbury Park,
  12:12pm
Gaylord Fields:

Ocean Grove would be my family-friendly suggestion. It's a dry town (for religious reasons) and has a great ice cream parlor called Day's that the whole family will enjoy.
  12:13pm
Connie T. Empress:

Lonely Boy!! No boy or girl for that matter will be lonely on the shore today! PS: OC has GREAT MACAROONS!! I used to go just for them!
  12:13pm
Gaylord Fields:

See, it's practically unanimous!
  12:13pm
David from NJ in ATL:

Ocean City. Beautiful.
Great subs @ Voltacos.
  12:15pm
hellosmith:

Belmar down the Jersey Shore is a great place to take kids
  12:16pm
Gaylord Fields:

Either Ocean Grove or Ocean City would fit the bill. Ocean Grove is smaller but much closer. Ocean City was the center of New Jersey's temperance movement.
  12:18pm
Connie T. Empress:

Ocean Grove is also gay friendly. Surprsing ebcause of the tent revivals, etc. but they are quite tolerant (I knew a woman who had a bakery there but couldn't touch those macaroons) And of course you can always stop by Asbury for the mini golf...
  12:21pm
~L:

I have heard that Princeton U. offers need-based financial aid to everyone, meaning if your daughter gets accepted, they will pay what you cannot. She may have a better chance of getting in if you move to a small remote town in Maine, than stay in NJ, though.
  12:23pm
Connie T. Empress:

Could qualify for the "Otis Bleepers, Blunders and Bloopers" LP
  12:24pm
ChooChoo - ATL:

I love me that Otis!
  12:24pm
Bob:

I hate the expression "___ could sing the phone book and it would be great," but Otis could sing the phone book and it would be great.
  12:26pm
DeemerDave:

That version of Hard Days Night is hilarious. Otis turned the song into nonsense. Wonder if he was making fun of The Beatles or stoned out of his mind.
  12:27pm
Peter:

One of the highlights of my adult life was to be at "Other Music" in the Village, with 50 other people, as TFC played a gig there - including this song. Joey Ramone was there, too. The only time I ever saw him in person.
  12:30pm
~L:

Other Music is the best. I love how they have survived and the mega- Tower Records across the street from them went out of business!
  12:31pm
Connie T. Empress:

It's NUMBER 1 here though!
Avatar 12:34pm
Michael Shelley:

Other Music has some great stuff - but talk about studied nonchalance! That staff needs help.
  12:36pm
Peter:

Michael, I agree they kind of keep to themselves. I can see you at the register there.. "Foghat...really..?" or "You don't want this." (takes CD from customer).
  12:47pm
Jay:

I was going to suggest Ocean City, but see that several others beat me to it. You can also ask Toddaphonic Todd about O.C.; I've randomly found him there twice! Bring bicycles if you have them.
  12:51pm
Dano:

Thanks for 'Too Many Teardrops' - love that song. I put Nick's guitars on my FB page just to torture myself.
  12:53pm
Dano:

Ocean Grove is nice, and walking distance to Asbury (which one of my resident friends called 'Beirut by the Sea'). Used to spend every Memorial Day there. Belmar's boardwalk is also a great destination.
