  11:26am
Connie T. Empress:

AND a big chimp chuckle to Dave The Spazz who brought his own spin to the show last week: awesomeness abounds on FMU! And #1 hits keep on coming: thanks!
  11:32am
ken in denver:

Bright Lights Tonight is definitely a No. 1 Hit!

  12:23pm
drr:

Darlin' Be Home Soon
  12:27pm
drr:

thanks! good song. I discovered I like the Lovin' Spoonful more than I thought I would based on their radio hits.
  12:29pm
Robert:

I never listened carefully to the lyrics of "Gentle On My Mind" before this, thanks. Now I understand it...it's not about the 2nd person that it's about, it's really about the 1st person.
  12:32pm
Robert:

That is, "you" are gentle on my mind not primarily because of anything particularly about "you", but because of the way "I" treated "you".
  12:35pm
Connie T. Empress:

Ready set DIG: that Jackpot 1800 was a true #1 in that MS has the only copy stateside!
  12:44pm
Dano:

Love this show - every week. The playlist reminds me of every goofy great thing I heard on the radio as a kid.
  12:49pm
Dano:

Dude! your comp. is No. 14 on the chart! (why not No. 1??)
  1:23pm
Listener Tom:

Great show Michael - if Ama Tai Tai were from Rhodesia, maybe check out SWP records - they're an archival label out of the Netherlands that specializes in pop and trad music from Southern and East Africa. The guy who runs it, Michael Baird, is a Zimbabwean expat and has forgotten more about that music than most folks will ever know: http://www.swp-records.com/
