Future farmers "getting into" the business probably will be former restauranteurs/butchers who want to grow a fresh source of certain foods. In fact, some have already moved to the farm to do just that.

	6:34pm Night Al: Jill Stein and the Green Party will get my vote. I'm very liberal and make it a point to read everyone's website and platform on issues. www.gp.org speaks for me now that Dennis Kucinich is not running.
	6:35pm Matt from Springfield: @Fredericks: I would support achieving that goal using an IRV or similar system, but that would require consistent activism at a state level. Cali (or at least San Fran) seems to be the only place on that path.

	6:38pm sfrances: I've been impressed by the Dem running for city council here/my 'hood, he's gone door to door to meet everyone, sent follow up postcard tied to what was discussed in person: a real worker, progressive breath of fresh air. I'll be volunteering for Planned Parenthood/phone banks/for getting out the vote in my swing state...

	6:57pm Night Al: Ross Perot told everyone during the presidential debates from 1999, that ratifying NAFTA and the WTO trade agreements, would mean the end of the American middle-class. Obama is introducing the TPP trade agreements, known as NAFTA on steroids. Unemployment will only get worse for the USA if he's re-elected.

This episode was assembled hastily before my wife and I left on a long-anticipated trip to Paris. I want to thank Ken and Julie for filling in for me in my absence, and on short-notice, to boot! As often happens when I am not there to make tiny adjustments in the control room, my voice is sped-up to near chipmunk status as the WFMU cassette player and my home unit seem to operate at different speeds. Usually I slow my tape dwon a little to compensate, but, I was in France and so ... Alvinism occurs. My voice is already at Jackie Stewart levels of highness, so further emascualtion is hard for me to handle. That said ... let's get on with it.

Obama is introducing the TPP trade agreements, known as NAFTA on steroids. Unemployment will only get worse for the USA if he's re-elected.
