Thanks for the Kevin tribute, Scott. Crystal Clear.
Love this demo - the one that inspired Joe McG's choice of bed music.

@Nardo: But the point is in the labeling--you wouldn't want horse in lasagna! At least Ikea always stated clearly that they were serving the Swedish delicacy, horsemeatballs.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:08pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Rev Turnip: That would make a GREAT album title! And with "This Song Isn't Called Anything" playing, it seems a fitting send off to Kevin Ayers!

My first exposure to Kevin Ayers was the June 1st, 1974 album, which I bought because it featured live tracks by my latest favorite, Brian Eno. Funny how these things go.

"Religious Experience" is actually one of my most favorite Kevin Ayers songs ever -- pretty good, since I don't believe in religious experiences!

I've often thought about having a radio show, and matching Kevin Ayers' "Religious Experience" with Jethro Tull's "Singing All Day".

@Yair,tim: I have that Crosby solo one on vinyl--you open up the jacket and it has photos of all the musicians of the album, most of them legendary. I bought that from a record store in college, and the guy who sold it showed me the pictures and commented how much drugs must've been consumed during the making of the album!

speaking of sleep, I just read a "review" of a Pink Floyd tribute act. One of the musicians says "we will play all the hits to keep people from dozing off." Is that the proper attitude?
