- Great Sat. Evening!
...the Bappi Lahiri reminds me of a contempo MashUp! ( - & 'Innagadadavida' was very big early in my life...)
  6:14pm Jim B:

That AARP discount comes in handy, Rob!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm Rob Weisberg:

Thanks Jim B. If it applies to Indonesian Dangdut cassettes then I'm in business - !
Avatar 6:29pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...'Wild Thing' (Troggs) was in there too...
  6:41pm David D:

Good stuff - greetings from the east of Germany!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm Rob Weisberg:

Hallo Deutschland!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:48pm Mike East:

time for dinner (paella). my wife loves this as a soundtrack
  6:52pm David D:

Hallo Rob! This is just the antidote I need from hearing all that Eurovision stuff.
  6:56pm David D:

Yes, cool day here too, but still springlike.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:02pm Rob Weisberg:

Beware David D, over the years I have dropped in the odd Eurovision track around the time of the competition (although usually the most Balkan-sounding entry I can find). Lucky for you (and perhaps all the listeners) I forgot all about Eurovision this year - !
  7:06pm David D:

Haha, actually the Greek contribution, a kind of ska'd up traditional Greek song about alcohol, wasn't all that terrible. And it actually got a few votes. Otherwise, the usual stuff, mostly, from the bit that I saw.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:34pm Andrew Waterloo:

Interesting use of the Knight Rider theme.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm Rob Weisberg:

Thanks Andrew, in my naive way I did not know that reference!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40pm Andrew Waterloo:

I only have a tenuous connection to it myself.
  7:40pm colin:

soooo good, thank you!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47pm Rob Weisberg:

Thanks Colin!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11pm Uncle Michael:

Happy impending codgerhood, Rob. When's the blessed event?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41pm Rob Weisberg:

Thanks Uncle Michael! I was born on May 26th, 1963 - the day the Organization of African Unity (OAU) was founded! (I won't be doing a show next weekend because of FMU's Primavera Sound festival broadcasts from Barcelona.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm Uncle Michael:

Well happy birthday, young man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm G:

Dude's old enough to know better now :)
  8:50pm David D:
