Martyn:

Good morning Bill and all.

Great start to the show ... there's nothing like a bit of Steve Reich in the morning (or any other time).
Avatar 3:15am
Bill Mac:

Hey Martyn, a little glorious repetition in the morning never hurt anybody. Greetings all!

Good morning Bill, Martyn, and everybody!

Everything's perfect! I'm an M.Sc. Computer Science now, and it seems that 3 weeks of celebrating this fact are coming to an end... :)
Avatar 3:27am
Bill Mac:

Congrats, Guess it's time to work full time now eh?
Avatar 3:32am
w41:

Thanks, Bill! Yes, it is, I guess... But boy, is it tough to get back to the real life again!
And how are things by your side?
Avatar 3:39am
Bill Mac:

Good! Real life is overrated though. I'm ready to grow plants in the yard 24/7. Aside from that all is good...
Avatar 3:48am
w41:

"Well then, as you'd say, we're both coming through fine" (Dr. Strangelove) :). And yes, I couldn't agree with dat second sentence more...

I live in the Midwest, sorta [Ohio] and I would love to see hawkwind!
Avatar 4:07am
Bill Mac:

It's a collaboration between him and Michael Nyman. I think that's his track though
Avatar 4:09am

I haven't seen their list of stops but check their web page periodically, they might be coming out that way.

I overslept. Rats! Missed Steve Reich and Stereolab!
  4:11am
B/wad:

I used to work at Blockbuster video in New Jersey when Ravenous came out. I had a conversation about it with my boss. He didn't like the film because he couldn't tell if it was a comedy or a horror. Naturally this was why I liked it.
Avatar 4:12am
Bill Mac:

Hey Jay, Happy New Year! And Andy's in the house too!
Avatar 4:14am
Bill Mac:

Odd reason to not like it but I guess he needed to have an opinion about it.
Avatar 4:17am
Jay/London:

you can't just say he does not like he has to give some reason me thinks
Avatar 4:23am
Bill Mac:

I think it's time to revisit that movie.

Actually a bit of a bummer. Was holed up in bed for half of it with the flu - La Grippe!
It pisséd down the the other half. But I wasn't at work so not all bad.
Avatar 4:54am
Bill Mac:

I got Irish in me but I don't get the whole dance craze (at least in the US) complete with the little springy hair weaves that the girls wear. The music and drinking I can do!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55am
Stanley:

I've just weighed myself and all that lack of exercise and rich food.....bugger!
Avatar 4:56am
Jay/London:

@ stanley i feel for you flu is not at all nice i have only had it twice and that was bad both times it lasted two weeks .. i hope you are feeling a bit better now ... yeah bill think i will keep with the drinking music on sunday :)

Avatar 5:11am

I think Dave Brock is the only original member left but there are a couple guys in the band that have been there for years.
Avatar 5:12am
Steve R:

“We were ready to rock out and we waited and waited and finally it was our turn ... there were a half million people asleep. These
people were out. It was sort of like a painting of a Dante scene, just bodies from hell, all intertwined and asleep, covered with mud. And this is the moment I will never forget as long as I live: a quarter mile away in the darkness, on the other edge of this bowl, there was some guy flicking his Bic, and in the night I hear, 'Don't worry about it John. We're with you.' I played the rest of the show for that guy.”
John Fogerty regarding Creedence Clearwater Revival's 3 a.m. start time at Woodstock.
