Continuing the rock documentary vein from previous Drummer shows: I watched a doc about Cream's Disraeli Gears last night, in which it was explained that the lyricist for "Tales of Brave Ulysses" threw together a bunch of psychedelic impressionism based on the rhythms of Judy Collins' version of Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne". IT ALL SEEMS SO OBVIOUS NOW.
