My apologies, I have low tolerance for most late 80s-mid 90s 'avant-guarde', w/ apparently notable exceptions.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm
Mike East:

just shoved a massive seitan burrito in my face, covered in too much of the green hot sauce and now I feel even worse than I did before i ate it. Is the day almost over?
Avatar 4:25pm
northguineahills:

Mike, you're supposed to open your mouth first!
Avatar 4:25pm
Sean D. Daily:

Well, I will commit hamster murder! It's not as awesome as wolf murder, but I also don't have to travel to the Northwest Territories to do it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm
Mike East:

@ngh - no time! I'm busy gettin' yelled at by clients who don't ask for what they need when I ask them what they need.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm
Caryn:

Oh Mike, the seitan alone would make me feel bad. Add the sauce to that? Ugh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm
Mike East:

Hey Meast, that album is named after me.

Yeah, Caryn, I dunno what I was thinking. Too much BS today at work to put much thought into lunch...which shows how bad it is, cuz that's usually ALL I think about.
Avatar 4:32pm
northguineahills:

Ahh, Kid Spatula, thought it sounded like u-ziq.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35pm
Caryn:

@Mike: hey, sometimes (well, in my case, often), food is just about getting something edible in your mouth. And seitan is still better than, say, surimi.

On a related note, just finished dinner (rice and a creamy chicken sauce). Meh, but as stated above, at least it was food.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37pm
Mike East:

yeah, that was really the only thought with the burrito...usually I'd prefer something a bit more elegant, but a burrito you just shove in yer face, as I said. The seitan was because I've been pescatarian for the past two weeks...but that ends on Sunday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm
Caryn:

@Mike: oh my, are you going to go nuts on Sunday (or Monday, depending on whether you are still following the pescatarian diet on Sunday) with your eats?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm
Mike East:

nah, everything in moderation, you know.
Although, I've also not had a drink for that same period and with the day I'm having, I think I'm going to end up breaking the fast tonight...need beersies in the worst way
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45pm
Caryn:

@Mike: that seems to be a common theme this weekend. A coworker spent most of the day cursing at the crap he had to deal with with clients and pledged to spend the weekend going on what I might describe as a bender.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:49pm
Caryn:

Soo, favourite superhero, anyone?
  4:51pm
scentymint endstinks:

Yogi Bear was my favorite super hero. He was smarter than your average bear!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:54pm

Confound it! Every time I think I think I've come up with a new invention, I find a thousand examples of it on Google. I thought that "beerburger" would surely be something new.
Avatar 5:09pm

There's already a ramen burger.

Marmalade Kitty:

Great set, Kurt!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm

Hmm, my fave traditional superhero would probably be someone from the X-Men. Or Northstar. But most of my actual faves are characters that are not necessarily "superheroes", like The Phantom Stranger, Deadpool, Sandman or Heimdall.

Going to harvest sunflower heads this evening. They are giant. 12 feet tall. Let me know if anyone wants some seeds. These grow huge.
