Bill Mac:

Anybody have big plans for the weekend?
Avatar 3:36am
mauri:

Could go see friends bands playing at a club that's held for the last time. Would be a late drive back home so haven't decided yet. Some teather and bands in town too. So I got to make choices or just stay home listening to music and watch brits kick football.
Avatar 3:36am
Andy in Berlin:

I'm seeing a friend tomorrow who just blew in from Albania.
Avatar 3:38am
Bill Mac:

We're just beginning our list of shows this month. Saw Fred Frith last weekend. Eh, remarkable. Goblin up next weekend. Maybe going down to the shore to fly the 'stunt' kite tomorrow.
  3:40am
andy in berlin:

stunt kite?
Avatar 3:42am
Bill Mac:

It's a kite you can do tricks with. Kites have come a long way over the last 30 years or so. It's not your (or anybodys') fathers day at the park anymore.
  3:45am
andy in berlin:

can you do "walking the dog"?
Avatar 3:45am
mauri:

heheh that looks like a good way to pass the time.
Avatar 4:00am
Bill Mac:

Actually we might wait another few weeks for the crowds to dissipate before to haul the kite out. Sunday might be a good day to walk the boards. The weather has been great here the last 2-3 weeks.

Mornin' Bill 'n sensation seekers.
Avatar 4:23am
Bill Mac:

Hey Jay, as i always say, better late than never... Brian too. The only sensation I have at the moment is a touch of sleepiness. Great show last week, Brooklyn is pretty great although crowded.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24am
Brian in UK:

Bill, was Mr Frith all you hoped for?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28am
Brian in UK:

Question answered. Just been dog wlaking in woods. The mushrooms are out in aboundance.
Avatar 4:29am
Bill Mac:

Oh yeah, it's always great when the artist you're there to see looks as if he's buying tickets to get into the venue. He was sitting on the steps in front of the place shaking hands with people he seemed to know, bummed a light of the missus, went back and sat on the steps. He played his classic Gravity front to back. It was nice to be in a hall that you can sit and watch the music.
Avatar 4:30am

Avatar 4:37am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37am
Brian in UK:

That's me and my daughter sitting on a kerb in Prague eating ice cream when they took me over there last year for my sixtieth. Sneaky camera work.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39am
Brian in UK:

And before you ask she has not got two left feet!!

Mauri that last night of the club sounds good, it is just getting home.
Avatar 4:40am
Bill Mac:

Nice. Is it my imagination or would it be fun to homeless in Czechoslovakia? Looks like you could eat right off the sidewalk there
Avatar 4:41am
Bill Mac:

I wasn't gonna say anything about the other left foot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:42am
Brian in UK:

Bill, would love to see those Gary Lucas Chinese gigs.

Well if you like pork and beer the Czech republic is for you. Still smoke in pubs/restaurants. Remember that?
Avatar 4:42am
mauri:

Brian, I decided not to go. Would be at bed at 2-3am and then it might be impossible to get good sleep. And I dont like driving that much. So I go see live vocalteather based on He-Man in town.
