rather chilly, rather? Dan? good morning (or afternoon).
  6:05am Jack:

and a good day to you, sir, and fellow listeners. ( I was going to ask "who's Dan?" but..nevermind.)
Avatar 6:09am fxo:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18am AndrewC.:

Avatar 6:22am fxo:

Avatar 6:25am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Thx for reminder !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:31am Sem Chumbo:

Hiya, Frank and good morning to you, and all. Damn, the Persuasions and Lumpy Gravy? Missed it, good thing about the archive.
Avatar 6:38am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- me too Sem.

- Foggy between the Day & the Night here now under Sun in ♎Libra.
...Here now - it's a bit like Santa Barbara where I lived:
- between hills over which desert & the Pacific - 'Sunny S.B.' actually foggy 'til early afternoon - but that kept it getting too hot & they call it 'Mediterranean'...
- Better than 90°F & 90% Humidity everyday like 'Summer' was! ;
- Beautiful, in fact - altho' closing windows @ night makes me sad...
Avatar 6:39am fxo:

as said by my friend Sem, this will be archived, and available on the FMU website, later in the day, complete playlist, et al, 24/7.

Rev: thanks for the reminder for the reminder.

good morning all
Avatar 6:46am fxo:

good maja, morning.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46am Sem Chumbo:

Here's a gem for an early morning. These guys are scarily intelligent musicians, I think.
  6:48am Jack:

Fabio played "The Seduction of Ingmar Bergman" (by Sparks) a few weeks ago and now I'm obsessed with it. Another band that's been around for almost 40 years that I had never heard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55am maestroso:

G'morning FXO, good day to listeners... a chilly fog here in Livingston.
Avatar 6:57am fxo:

'stroso, the fog will clear up, I hear...
Avatar 7:11am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Hullo Bill Burroughs. We miss ya.
Avatar 7:17am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& Johnny.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21am Sem Chumbo:

Nice, fxo : the master of the cut up method followed by Lennon surreal poetry mashed up. Love this.
Avatar 7:23am fxo:

Rev: what about Santo?

I am not the creator. Lotsa mashes, though.
Avatar 7:24am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Burroughs, after all, smack in the middle of Sgt. Pepper cover - w/ Marilyn...
Avatar 7:25am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- what about Peter Ivers & his rap about haunted Sleepwalks or whatever it was, or whoever wrote for him...
Avatar 7:28am fxo:

uh, oh. People are paying attention. Which IS good.
Avatar 7:37am duke:

Good morning fxo and all those awake or trying to wake up
Avatar 7:39am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...it's that word 'box'...their little heads pop in & out...
Avatar 7:41am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

  7:42am moose:

Avatar 7:46am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...He's wasted on that Show man !
Avatar 7:49am fxo:

duke: thanks for the wakey-wakey.

Morning Moose. And yes, the sun has come out (at least in the FMU EST zone).

I like his work on Parks, as well.
Avatar 7:50am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- yeah - uninformed thing to say...one of my specialties...
Avatar 7:51am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Comments are Forever, man...
Avatar 7:52am fxo:

and so are opinions. I got a lot 'em.
Avatar 8:03am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- you said it!: Parks - & Recreations...
Avatar 8:06am fxo:

just seein' if you're awake. And guess what? You're there. Thanks.
Avatar 8:08am kat330:

Hi, Frank! A drive-by howdy-do and to comment how so rarely FINE that "So Rare" track was (except for one tiny reservation: that Mitch Miller choral background). Great find and thanks!
Avatar 8:11am fxo:

Hey kat. I guess we'd call it a Muzak mashup.
Avatar 8:11am kat330:

But since you're playing this while I'm still logged in: I've thought there's an interesting mash-up with "Where It's At" and Jim James newish "State of the Art." I just don't have time for that kind of work anymore, but I even have the title for anyone who does want to tackle it: either "State of the At" or "Where It's Art." ;)
Avatar 8:13am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Mashzak ?
Avatar 8:14am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...muzup...
Avatar 8:15am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...it's like the OldTestament...
Avatar 8:15am fxo:

waz-up!
Avatar 8:16am kat330:

Aloha fxo and acolytes! HA, Frank, I was JUST thinking to type that! :) Hope your Monday is Over the Moon all!
Avatar 8:16am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& Mashzak begat Wazup...
Avatar 8:18am fxo:

of course it's new testament. No mashups from the older one...
Avatar 8:20am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Blessed are the Cheesemakers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:21am Sem Chumbo:

It is my understanding that the Old Testament is ITSELF a mash up...but perhaps this is not the forum for that discussion:)
Avatar 8:22am fxo:

save it for Nachum.
Avatar 8:23am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...you might upset David Lynch, Sem.
Avatar 8:29am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:29am Sem Chumbo:

RevRab: would not want to do that, He scared me so badly with Eraserhead I have given him a wide berth ever since.
Avatar 8:30am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& Peter Ivers wrote - 'In Heaven Everything is Fine' (the radiator girl song)...
Avatar 8:31am fxo:

I've watched Eraserhead too many times.
  8:34am Jack:

Eraserhead has a great soundtrack.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:35am Sem Chumbo:

Imagine my discombobulation at seeing Jack Nance in Twin peaks. His hair was all wrong. Flummoxed, I was, flummoxed.
Avatar 8:36am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Flummox is wrinkly & itchy but breathes well & dries quickly.
Avatar 8:38am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...have you any idea how many Flummox died to make that - ?!...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:38am Ken From Hyde Park:

This sounds like the hymn that Marge & Homer used to make out to.
Avatar 8:39am fxo:

"Wrapped in plastic": Jack Nance r.i.p.

Flummoxization is me by-word.
Avatar 8:39am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& Wazup begat Flummox...
  8:40am Jack:

Now this is wild, I've never heard anyone cover "in-a-gadda-da-vita" before. great!
Avatar 8:41am fxo:

Ken: I have to re-watch the "Homerland" episode.

Nothing up my short sleeves.
Avatar 8:41am Cheri Pi:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44am northguineahills:

I need to see the Jack Nance bio Lynch did, You Don't Know Jack, tonight.
Avatar 8:47am fxo:

Duke: probably, it kills Iron Butterfly.
