	9:29pm LovecraftDude888: Bainbridge Island sounds rad. I don't know deek about that part of the USA...never been to Seattle or Portland sadly. I have tons of friends there though, or a good few. I was doing a lot of research on Toronto....that place rules, good record shops, bookstores, etc. some real culture in Toronto. At least so it sounds like.
	9:33pm LovecraftDude888: I was in Montreal once for a day or two in 1979 and it was.....real cold. On a crap skiing trip with no er, skiing available, weather killed it. Just recall freezing our arses off, eating cheeseburgers and stuff and going into a French/English bookstore. that was all.
	9:35pm Droll: Montreal looks (and sounds) nothing like North America, but Toronto is just another Megalopolis (with Tim Horton's).

	9:37pm LovecraftDude888: Yeah Montreal seemed pretty different and bloody cold but not much like NYC at all. But I was again, 11 years old. Someone i know tried driving into Toronto city limits earlier this year and had to bail due to traffic jams!! Urghh. I never heard of William Parker but this sounds amazing. My friend knows Daniel Carter, the downtown jazz and improv dude.
	9:39pm LovecraftDude888: Wow don't even know Tim Hortons...we don't have any on LI as far as I know. They tried opening a Denny's in Levittown two years ago and I think it bombed. I read it was dirty nasty and roach infested!

	9:52pm Droll: I used to work in the area where that sinkhole formed. I was there during the 2001 Nisqually earthquake, and everyone was amazed the fill underneath Pioneer Square didn't turn to slush. They had to bring a diver in to inspect the ferry dock before we could get home to Bainbridge, another one of those "adds 3-5 hours to the commute" days.

She claimed she worked as a phlebotomist at some crime lab or hospital or both over there. Oh that MCDs the coup de grace is it's on High School Rd NE!! Nice! That figures.

But first I have to move and stuff...I can't even go to WFMU record fair. boo hoo

	11:00pm P-90: Yeah, the "whammy Bar" is a pitch-changing vibrato device that alters the length of the strings, but is widely referred to as a "tremelo bar." And Yup, Videodrome is a one-of-a--kind classic.

I was doing a lot of research on Toronto....that place rules, good record shops, bookstores, etc. some real culture in Toronto. At least so it sounds like.
	9:33pm LovecraftDude888: I was in Montreal once for a day or two in 1979 and it was.....real cold. On a crap skiing trip with no er, skiing available, weather killed it. Just recall freezing our arses off, eating cheeseburgers and stuff and going into a French/English bookstore. that was all.

My friend knows Daniel Carter, the downtown jazz and improv dude.

I was there during the 2001 Nisqually earthquake, and everyone was amazed the fill underneath Pioneer Square didn't turn to slush. They had to bring a diver in to inspect the ferry dock before we could get home to Bainbridge, another one of those "adds 3-5 hours to the commute" days.
