i hate that bosstones thing less than i remembered. hi, nick.

Nick the Bard:

That's one of the few tracks I really liked off that album, even if the album as a whole took me almost a decade to really get into it.
Avatar 3:08am
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

omg you've reminded me that I've seen them live (in my concert photography days). Which means I guess I have negatives of them in a box somewhere.
Avatar 3:12am
Kurt Gottschalk:

i never had the album, just a green vinyl 7" that i have almost gotten rid of many times.

Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Nick Norflax, playlist not in live mode....
Avatar 3:16am
Nick the Bard:

It's not running at all, or it's not in accuplaylist mode? (accu I know it's not, i don't tend to work it with that)
Avatar 3:18am
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Not in accu.

At first I thought we were at Barbie Burger King, then I saw Bart's principal's lover in the drive through. Now I have my bearings. We must be in Springfield.
Avatar 3:37am
Nick the Bard:

Not really, we could be on that oil derek that has a franchise on it (they did show a map of their locations back in season, what, 4?)

Hee, Burger King show-offs. Can you imagine how filthy THAT bathroom must be!!

I don't want to get your wringer in a bunch DJ Nick Bard, but it sounds like it's a "dry mop". If it's about three feet wide and all fringee around the edges then it's the comforter to my Lone Ranger bunk bed or a dry mop also.
Avatar 5:04am
Nick the Bard:

It's a Swiffer, it's not a *real* mop :P

Nick, I'm impressed by the comics. How long does it take you to prepare one for a show? It must take a while, just setting the figures and taking the pictures
Avatar 5:52am
Nick the Bard:

I've been doing these comics off and on since about 2000 or so, so the actual set up and shooting doesn't take that long, this one took maybe a total of 60-70 minutes? Obviously more complicated sets take longer. Putting in the dialouge and stuff is the real killer, as is gathering up the figures and playsets (that can take days)
Avatar 5:53am
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

This whole show is making me want to cry it's so great
Avatar 5:54am
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

I was actually sitting here thinking through a way to make it so these comics could be done in real-time, and then half-wondering if you were doing it in this way
(I am obsessed with doing things live, my show being one over-the-top manifestation of this)
Avatar 6:08am
Nick the Bard:

Well, all the diolouge was put in during the show (as things tend to go with this), and the last scene was shot starting about halfway through the Spider-man track, so, it -ALMOST- could be done real time, but the majority of the time, I'm writing the script as it goes, so, it's a bit too nerve racking to get it in that fast (same reason I don't tend to do accuplaylists. at least until I get an assistant on this thing :P )

...I missed this. Are there any back-issues available? How much do they cost ??
...Nevermind...
