	4:16pm Green Mountain Man Mark: The whole reason why astronauts went to the moon was because public demand wanted them to go to find out for sure the moon was not made of cheese. Popular belief at the time. Imagine harvesting all of that cheese if the moon was really made of cheese. When the astronauts arrived they dug into the moon only to find dirt and rock. No cheese. But yet again they were not on the dark side of the moon.

Kind of gratifying to those of us who remember when Tony Randall and Jack Klugman had to plead with ABC to let them do one episode that way.

Popular belief at the time. Imagine harvesting all of that cheese if the moon was really made of cheese. When the astronauts arrived they dug into the moon only to find dirt and rock. No cheese. But yet again they were not on the dark side of the moon.
