@Doug - I'll eat all your cilantro, and then some. Did you kow that your aversion is likely due to genetics rather than (or in addition to) taste preferences? Wow, Shamshad Begum died a year ago this month. I must've known, but forgot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:57am Doug Schulkind:

Begum sang on over 6,000 filmi tracks in six different languages.

Next up is a kind of Bollywood salad bar. A little bit of everything.

Oh duh, Prince! But I do like a lot of Prince's work, especially when he called himself Prince.

@still b/p - We need to move on to salicornia!

G'morning. I'd argue that celery is better known as one of the vegs most prone to picking up toxins.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07am Doug Schulkind:

ello earrie!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 11:07am Gary:

Superheart Burman's voice. One of my fave Bollywood albums is a otherwise unreleased collection of him singing his own songs (which others would go on to sing for the films/soundtracks themselves)

Wow, this "Hum" chunk has an all-star cast.
Avatar 11:08am Van in DC:

This Bollywood salad bar has been pretty good, with just the right amount of cilantro.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 11:09am Brian in UK:

ABBA?
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 11:09am listener james from westwood:

@earrie: Due to its high water uptake/content? I know there's a group of veggies they advise one only buy organics for, given the choice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10am Doug Schulkind:

You snuck that cilantro in there, Van. I can't blame you.

I love Tintin.
Avatar 11:14am earrie:

@ljfw Yep. It's up there with apples on the residue list.
Avatar 🥁 11:14am βrian:

It would be coriander leaves, then, to distinguish from the spice. I know what you mean, though. I much prefer the flavor of chick peas as opposed to garbanzo beans.
Avatar 🥁 11:15am βrian:

Strawberries are bad news, generally. Sad, that.
Avatar 11:16am still b/p:

I never et no salicornia, but surely would, especially if harvested by my own hand when biking by a summer marsh....if it's waiting here on the New England coast, and if yanking some from otherwise sensitive protected shore areas doesn't earn me jail food instead.
Avatar 11:16am Holly in NC:

@earrie - That is also VERY true, celery is one of the veg that's really important to eat organic. The ewg "dirty dozen" & "clean 15" pdfs & apps are super helpful, imho. Lord knows I can't afford to buy everything organic, so it's great to be able to prioritize purchases.

A whirled rat is something I once saw at 3:00 am in my toilet. Having gotten up to pee (without turning on the light, as there was just enough ambient light to do the business), I noticed a weird "chirping" noise. Flipping on the light, I saw this rat struggling to get up the side of the bowl. I was peeing on its head. I shrieked and flushed, almost simultaneously. The rat literally whirled around, backspinning back where he (she?) came from.
