My Time Now
  Hanging out with Fab
I knew that the Jermaine song I played wasn't Daddy's Home. Some listeners asserted that I had played the wrong song. THings were already disjointed and panicky in my mind.
Jermaine Jackson  That's How Love Goes   Favoriting Jermaine  Motown  1972  LP  my rex have been sounding skratchier than ever lately. really going deep with some of these $1 LPs. It's an understood risk and one well worth taking. However, the skratches, good Lord. I also don't like playing whole songs on an hour show. Too much time when other excitements could be happening.
Chick Corea  Picture 1   Favoriting Piano Improvisations Vol. 1  ECM  1970? 3?  LP  jazztok™ ensues

Tugboat Richie Checkin' In
Tugboat Richie is a regular caller. He is a tugboat caotain on the Hudson and the East River. These are not the little tugboats one might imagine, rather they are sophisticated ships with all the latest technological gizmology, Tugboat Richie assisted in the evacuation of people from the Wall Street area after the attack on 9-11. A great guy.

Sarah Dislikes the 90's Music I've Been Playing .... and i liked the primus
REO Speedwagon  Keep On Rollin'   Favoriting       WAV  MTV broadcast of Live Aid. I kind of like how the guitar is buried and it sounds real makeshift like those charity multi-band fests can be. The band had to play in Milwaukke later in the evening and still Kevin Cronin really goes for it with his singing. I admire that. Not worrying if he's blowing his voice out (like mine is) and the BEach Boys throw in some background vocals ... and the crowd.

Cecile:

Clay, this isn't Daddy's Home.

Also, except for a couple of Michael solo albums, I prefer the J-5 together to separate.

I think the Jackson you missed was Jackie, the oldest.
Avatar 6:05pm
still b/p:

The Germaine song'd be a bit better, I think, if it had more of the Motown musician and recording style of a few years earlier, if that makes sense.

i already microwaved my dinner, so i'm all in.

I think I mentioned before that I got turned onto fusion by seeing Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea on Soundstage back in 1974. They did a duet of Someday My Prince Will Come, and Herbie's synthesizer got away from him pretty badly at one point.

A full lunar eclipse will occur early Tuesday morning, darkening the full moon and possibly tinting it a reddish hue that causes some to call it a "Blood Moon".

For nearly an hour and a half, the moon will be dimmed and possibly appearing a copper color because of sunlight bent by the atmosphere. The total eclipse begins around 3 a.m. EST and ends around 4:30 a.m., with the moon at its dimmest at 3:46 a.m.

Yes will perform 1971′s Fragile in its entirety as well as every track from 1972′s Close To The Edge, followed by an encore of the band’s greatest hits and material off their new studio album, Heaven and Earth, which is due on July 8.
