Gaylord Fields:

The Searchers get so many of the words wrong on this version that I wonder if they spell it "g-i-r-l-s."

Wow, amazing. Great 80's Searchers stuff...

They used to cram all of the Husdon Brothers in one of the Hollywood squares.

Their TV show was named "The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show." Are there TV shows anything like that today?

Yeah, Guido, some people's original names can be a trip. Was just reading about how Michael Keaton's real name is Michael Douglas, while Michael Douglas's original family name is Danilovich, meanwhile Diane Keaton is really Diane Hall, though her family nickname is Annie. Everyone seemed to wind up with someone else's name.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm
Guido from Cologne:

@mariano
there is a similar story about James Steward and Steward Granger if I remember right.

@mariano: It's not that surprising when you factor in the sheer number of actors. I'm sure there are weird connections already there with WFMU commenters, they real names, and their user names

It is, @Guido! It's from a 1993 cover of Titanic, when they claimed he had "mad goat disease." One of my favorite graphics.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm

@Fred: Yeah, I'm sure someone could write an interesting article on FMU user names!

@Guido: tell you on the next message board, we might be out of time, but I was in Berlin the summer of '94, and I saw this issue in a friend's apartment. Became a big fan of Titanic, great magazine, even if I can't read all of it!
