Drummer in '69 was John Silver.

Collins did drum when he fronted the band. Saw him with Bruford backing him up, as well as Chester Thompson. He was a schmaltzy front man, but the doctor is correct: he was one of the best drummers. Taste some of that early Brand X, too.

Hey, Orange County NY here. Awesome, I played the Dirt Club in the early eighties. I can't believe I heard Song Remains the Same and Nobody's Fault back to back. FYI, Phil Collins,
four albums after he became singer still played devestating drums. Trick of the Tale, Wind and Wuthering, And Then There Were Three and Duke. Love FMU for about thirty years now, y'all the best.
