no. somehow i've never hiked at ramapo- even though i used to live sorta nearby.
...i'll start in mohonk territory-head toward lake minnewaska and see what happens. I must beat the tourists for this to happen.They all park there to hike 200 yards to a swimming hole; but i go the opposite direction.

Will be honest: I am in Bay Ridge in Brooklyn. Nobody less than 0.9 miles away. Tons of folks in Park Slope and other “safe/typical” Brooklyn neighborhoods. So this is an interesting social experiment for me. Meaning there might be exactly ONE other person nearby in a week or so but that’s it.

To be clear, the R-D trail is in Harriman State Park (where 91.9 is). Really nice trail, one of many in Harriman. If you're thinking of Ramapo Mtn. State Forest in NJ, that's boring IMO.

Ike Yes i was thinking of the state forest; but i may have been where you mean. I don't recall! Many years ago i was involved with someone who lived in morris county & we went on day hikes nearly every sunday for years. I'd be surprised if we never ventured to that area.

The universe as a hologram theory comes from astronomers detecting the event horizon and the mass it's absorbing. The only calculations that match up is that the event horizon is 2D, not 3D. There are other calculations in the theory, but that's the gist.
