The doc is pretty good in how much info you get across the chronology. Though they're real and relevant, the conflicts among producers and stakeholders get tedious. Fun interview moments when an older wiser Lazenby paints himself as a bozo when he had his shot.

Ha! We need what..? Just saw this re Diana's Avengers days:
"I got a lot of very odd fan mail while I was in that show, but my mum used to enjoy replying to it. Some of the men who wrote to me must have been a bit startled because she would offer really motherly advice. I would get a letter from a teenage boy, say, who was overexcited and my mother would write back saying: 'My daughter is far too old for you and what you really need is a good run around the block.'"

Some of the older stuff rivals the bent bloody sadism of recent horror entries --at least in whacked concepts if not explicitness of gore actually seen. What I thought was perhaps a Night Gallery entry, I just learned was in a '72 film, Tales from the Crypt, but based on an older comic. Blind guys' revenge on their cruel caretaker: they starve his bad-ass dog to madness, then set it after him while he has to run in the dark through narrow passageways with a whole lotta razor blades embedded in the walls. Invent and describe something like that to a schoolmate today and the cops might come a'callin'.
