I remember having nightmares about A: monsters coming out of the TV set & B: Scary looking people talking directly to me via the TV (and you can't turn it off) as a result of watching Outer Limits as a little kid.

	♥ 1:55pm Andrew Waterloo: The thing that really scared the crap out of me when I was a kid was this thing with TV's on rolling TV stands attacking people. I can still picture them roaming the streets and showing up in the shower. I think it was actually a Saturday Night Live skit or something.

	♥ 2:12pm Jeff Golick: Uh, there's a good cartoon on the Disney channel these days, called Gravity Falls, and it featured an entire ep based on the wax figures coming to life story line. One voiced by John Oliver, I think.

	2:15pm still b/p: Some of the older stuff rivals the bent bloody sadism of recent horror entries --at least in whacked concepts if not explicitness of gore actually seen. What I thought was perhaps a Night Gallery entry, I just learned was in a '72 film, Tales from the Crypt, but based on an older comic. Blind guys' revenge on their cruel caretaker: they starve his bad-ass dog to madness, then set it after him while he has to run in the dark through narrow passageways with a whole lotta razor blades embedded in the walls. Invent and describe something like that to a schoolmate today and the cops might come a'callin'.

Blind guys' revenge on their cruel caretaker: they starve his bad-ass dog to madness, then set it after him while he has to run in the dark through narrow passageways with a whole lotta razor blades embedded in the walls. Invent and describe something like that to a schoolmate today and the cops might come a'callin'.
