	8:48am ausmanx: hmm, well most Americans don't seem to feel safe if the hysteria over ISIS is any indication, and the foreign policy in Syria and the drone campaigns have done a lot to accomplish that. Obama, like all other presidents, knows that fear is the way to keep the Pentagon budget up, and he's done a manful job with that. the EU had a comprehensive climate change policy if America had supported it, and if Gore had done such a great job, why is Keystone still even on the agenda? oh, and the secret prisons are still there, by the way, despite his election promises. not to mention the explosion in the not-so-secret prisons, which see higher incarceration rates there than in China. roll on democracy.
