People Like Us brought me to the Ronettes. Maybe that's why "I wish I never saw the sunshine" is one of my fave songs ever. It's a rare thing when I like the original even more than what Vicki did with it

See? Rod Steward didn't always suck donkey dicks. This is a great Faces collection. Even though it's been out about 15 years, I just picked it up, and I've been playing it a lot.

Stewart I mean! Todd, you run a nice joint. I love all the background info you give us. You're clearly in your element here.

Alice and Waylon ... great playlist!

This time travel thing came up on Billy Jam's show too. They wanted to go back to 1990, with a stop in 1993. I don't get it. I's rather travel to the future, hear the music I'll never hear otherwise
  4:26pm
Mark:

I don't know--Jimi at Monterey would be pretty bitchin'...or maybe like 1947. Take in a Giants game at the Polo Grounds, then go out to see Bird & Diz that night. That's a nice NY day.

Phil Spector's Xmas Album is *thee* best Xmas Music there is.
- Geez - just props for not being starstruck on the interview, from where I'm standing!
...Miss Keili & the unique fresh thang she brought - a genuine loss, but always said Todd was flawless (he's a lot more like TerreT, sort of - who was in this slot before making room for Keili): it's not one against the other (not about just the timeslot) - that is not the point.
- I wonder how much it would cost to fill up the Drummer stream schedule (since it's on 24/7 anyhow).
  5:01pm
Sissophonic Cheryl:

Thanks honey!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm

@RRN63: I didn't mean that as a diss, just a way to tell Keili she's not forgotten

That Mink Deville track is one of the best performances I've ever heard in my life. For a minute there I thought it was Van Morrison. The live Velvets was major, too--good-sounding recording for a live track. And Alejandro is kick-ass, too! Let me join the chorus: great, GREAT show!
