Now it's good. I had Pop-up and 128k on iTunes both dropping out for a few minutes, even after relaunching the browser.
Fahey: an excellent choice for exception that proves the rule

My stream was acting up a minute ago but that's normal around here. I wouldn't use it as an indication of anything.

I just wanna know if the Raccoon Home Invasion happened the same week as the Great Jersey City Racc-Out. Like is this a pattern? Like "The Birds" with racoons? I just don't want to play the Susanne Pleshette part...

Good morning jeff - wonderful start to the show. Streams all fine for me too (32k) on the Dorset coast inna Ingalnd. Can i recommend VLC as your open source media player, rather than using itunes (yuck) - it is solid. have a great day jeff and all!

My best raccoon story is second hand but I think it's pretty good.. it's better if you know my friend Matt. He and his friends had a raccoon in a cage. They would sit in a circle around the cage in the garage, get stoned, turn out the lights and open the cage door.

ok, ill tell the story next break

Morning, Larst and John. Thanks for checking in.

What I didnt say on air was Harold shit all over the place and it was everywhere: walls, ceiling, sink.
  4:12am
P-90:

Were you renting the place? Did the landlord get everything repaired in reasonably good time?
  4:12am
rw:

Thanks JC. Glad nobody got shot. So he broke into your house to take a shit in your bathroom?
Avatar 4:14am
Jeff Conklin:

my roommate had left the kitchen window open and he got in that way. We have cheap rent and dare not ask the landlord for raccoon assitance. Made my roommate clean up the mess
  4:24am

Good story. Better with the off-air details. My stream is acting up again which is reminding me that it's darned late. Have a good week all!

@pierre Also disappointed to have missed "Hurry On Sundown". I once played in an all-acoustic Hawkwind cover band, and we got to support Hawkwind (our only gig)! Pretty rough recording here: archive.org...

Brooklyn to Jersey City is a bitch-and-a-half. Not to bum you out, but how long does it take you? I know the station's near the Path stop at least!
  5:27am
P-90:

@Canterbury, that is cool. And congrats on playing a gig with Hawkwind.
Avatar 5:27am
Jeff Conklin:

If the PATH isnt running like complete shit, takes me about an hour. That is rare. Going home is easier than coming in. I also live in a pretty remote section of BK accessible only by the worst train line in the system.

Listening on archive; that Popol Vuh was fantastische! Sounded like a draggy tape or warpy LP towards the end tho. Guess that will be a good first album to get of theirs. Thanks Jeff! And thanks also for turning me on to Agitation Free a little while back.
