Because "Christmas" in Washington is really election day, right? Anyway, the sentiment is apropos for the season IMO.

You know what, I realized JUST like a couple of hours ago that Steve Earle's "Christmas in Washington" might not even be about Christmas. Because "Christmas" in Washington is really election day, right? Anyway, the sentiment is apropos for the season IMO.
