Not a sweets person, but helped kids I babysit make beignets Saturday morning. Did eat a few - quality control important!

Tonight = oysters - kids' parents kindly left a fresh pint jar in the fridge, and since I honestly can't leave their house (ice, trapped), it's fair game. I know, most people get stuck with bread & milk, right? ;-)

@Glenn - I'm eating that *exact* recipe, except sherry vinegar and no maple syrup. But red wine vinegar & maple syrup are in the house, might need to experiment...wee batch for 1 oyster only.
