So the last Saturday of February has begun.
  12:08am
jeff-m:

hey Rich
  12:12am

hi jeff, hi jake, hi other listeners,

look here while listening: patperry.net

Still Friday here but we're a little behind the times in these parts.

Hello!
  12:21am
JakeGould:

Nice imagery, rich. Detailed as well. But I am watching this in honor of Leonard Nimoy. www.youtube.com...

Ahoy hoy!

Hey folks. Ever tried to steer your brain into a skid? Anyway, good sounds here.
  12:36am
rw:

Leonard Nimoy?! I hadn't heard. Sad. Funny YouTube clip though. I saw him in a parking lot once. It was difficult not to do the "Live Long and Prosper" thing. He must have heard that a LOT.
  12:37am
rw:

Ike I haven't but I will.

Ike:

Woah, were those distant frogs in the Grouper song? Or have frogs taken up residence outside my upper-floor window in Sunset Park?
  12:39am
rich:

so you're a fan of distant frogs Ike?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42am
Ike:

That's such a Rich question. Yes, very much so. We could use a lot more distant frogs around here.
  12:43am
rich:

hearing live long and prosper a lot is better than hearing he's dead jim a lot.

Rich, Indonesian bazaar in Woodside tomorrow?

True Rich. Now I'm a little sorry I didn't at least do the hand gesture as a wave.

Sounds great Rich. Greetings all.

ike, preparing premium for marathon tomorrow

You've got a nice show going. How's studio B?

My favorite Film board of Canada film was Neighbors ...but I don't believe there was any music ...and I remember another with clay sculptures & and a jazz trio ...but not sure who..
  1:11am

cozy

JakeGould:

“Or have frogs taken up residence outside my upper-floor window in Sunset Park?” Have you not seen what they sell on the street on 8th Avenue in Sunset Park? I mean they just found a pot farm under a Maraschino cherry factory in Red Hook. The odds of someone breeding frogs, turtles and other things in the basement of somewhere in Sunset Park are quite high.
  1:14am
rich:

neighbors is great as are most of Norman Maclaren's films, i really enjoy Begone Dull Care.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26am
Ike:

Yeah, down there, sure, but up here on my fire escape? Or in the nearby trees, or in another such place where I can hear them? I'm too far up to hear the basement frogs.
  1:29am
JakeGould:

Okay, fair enough. Maybe someone has roof frogs?
  1:32am
rich:

that someone would appear to be ike.
  1:34am
JakeGould:

Honestly I’ve explored a lot of Bay Ridge and nearby Sunset Park since moving here a year ago: Pretty confident there are basements and lofts and apartments where people are just growing things.
  1:39am
Tamar:

Ike, maybe it's tinnitus.
  1:43am
rich:

i'd rather have roof frogs.
  1:45am
JakeGould:

I remember back in the 1980s when the police would bust guys up in Washington Heights for raising goats in the basement or their backyards.
  1:46am
JakeGould:

Oh and as far as pot farms and Maraschino cherries go, this: www.dailymail.co.uk...
  1:46am
Tamar:

I'd rather have roof frogs, too.
  1:48am
JakeGould:

Can roof frogs be a marathon premium?
  1:49am
rich:

too difficult to mail
  1:51am
JakeGould:

Rich, check this out: www.growafrog.com

“NOTE: Kit includes a coupon code. Once redeemed, the manufacturer will ship BOTH the aquarium and tadpole directly to you.”

rich:

"...and never hops out" How could it ever hop out? it's like john travolta in the plastic bubble. there is no escape from tube-city.
  1:56am
JakeGould:

I believe that there are subliminal messages sent the frog that says, “Wait here for the UPS guy…” And the frog just waits.

Morning Rich and everyone. I saw Deerhoof play in London two nights ago - amazing energy, jaw-droppingly good. I still can't figure them out but I love them.

And even Flavor Flav is touched by the passing of Mr. Nimoy: twitter.com...
  2:49am
rw:

JG, Viet Nam era propaganda film. The good sort of propaganda though. I'm glad I had the sort of teachers who would show films like that.
  2:51am
JakeGould:

Great film. But like everything on YouTube the top comment is, “I felt uncomfortable as soon as I saw the military toys come out. A GIJoe IV drip?! I have a huge problem with the glorification of violence, especially where children are concerned.” What an idiot. glorification? If you watched that and want to go to war, you are nuts.
  2:54am

Okay, I'm done for tonight. Thank you Rich Hazelton! Have a good weekend everybody!
