@glenn: Saw it as a kid with my parents at a movie theater in Brooklyn. The most surreal memory? I was one of the only kids in the audience. Everyone else was waaaay older. And EVERYONE in the movie theater sang along with “Sunrise/Sunset.”

I once saw Star Wars on an outdoor screen, and near the end, when the Millennium Falcon swoops in to save the day, a low-flying plane coming in for a landing at a nearby airport flew over the screen as if in tandem with it. Not surreal, but it seemed almost coordinated. Whole audience went "whoa".
