Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Clay, Todd has a new side-project record w/ a couple of Norwegian cats called "Runddans". Drops on Tuesday. It will take you straight back to 1975. I heard a preview. It's the best thing he's dropped in decades.

The NYPD has been using this "catch & (eventually) release" tactic at protests for years now. Even if/when charges are (eventually) dropped, this tactic serves to discourage future would-be marchers from going out on the streets. The fear of arrest and the prospect of a night in the pen is an effective tool of mass discouragement.

Yo Clay! When are you gonna stop asking questions about realities that aren't 100% yours?
  6:18pm
Gee Lampa:

They say a lot of black-owned businesses were spared, but many Asian-owned ones went up in smoke. There's resentment there. Those businesses make money from the community, but won't hire from it.

  6:21pm
Gee Lampa:

That depends on the definition, P. Many define racism as bigotry in action, committed by people w/ power. No power = no ability to commit "racist" acts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:22pm

Whoa! This NYPD announcement sounds quite dystopian.
Avatar 6:28pm
Slick Goldtooth:

It's tough to call NJ flat out republican cracker state. Sure there's some real tight ass whitebread areas but there's definitely a good deal of diversity to balance things out. There's also the the reality how this state has a history of being a blue state and if you wanna go back a bit in history it was usually a swing state.
  6:29pm
